Open Studio for Artists with Disabilities

Tallaght Community Arts in partnership with Cheeverstown House Ltd & The Dyspraxia Association of Ireland have launched an open artist’s studio at Rua Red for individual emerging and established artists with disabilities.

With magnificent views of the Dublin Mountains DoubleTAKE open studio can support 25 individual artists weekly. A maximum of 5 artists per session.

Resident artists are supported by TCA artist mentors.

The studio is open:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday

Daily Sessions

There are 2 sessions per day. Each session is 3 hours long.

Session 1. 10 am – 1pm

Session 2. 2pm – 5pm

This includes a 30 minutes tidy up time at the end of each session

DoubleTAKE is an arts iniative developing a range of projects as part of a sustainable programme of work with the disabled community.   We aim to involve individuals with disabilities to be actively involved in mainstream arts activity and to come into contact with arts work made by established and emerging comtempory artists.
